Have you noticed that there are a lot horse racing games around these days?
I have found one that is fun and looks fantastic. You can buy your own horses, train, your horses and race them against your friends. It also possible to modify your horse, choose your own stable name and jockey colours.
And above all it's fun to watch the races live or replays of the race.
